Geographic Registration
Geographic coordinates of production areas are required to be recorded for GLOBALGAP (Shrimp, Pangasius, Tilapia) Certificates shall GLOBALGAP expand that requirement to all types of primary production in order to demonstrate that there is no conflict with high conservation value areas and natural reserves?
Development of New Sub-scopes
GLOBALGAP has published four product sub-scopes for aquaculture: Which other species shall be included? Please mention any specific concern of these proposed species and if possible, provide the scientific name you are referring to.
Managing Complexity
The GLOBALGAP Aquaculture Sector Committee has suggested, based on market demand, the introduction of one aquaculture standard covering all species farmed under controlled systems from brood stock and seedlings to final fin-fish(fresh and sea water)/shrimp/shellfish covering all systems used, e.g. closed, semi-closed and open systems. Specific species and systems remaining criteria are planed to be included when necessary. How shall GLOBALGAP manage the complexity with respect to species and country specifics?
